Cindy Woodfield, Assistant Professor of Nursing and an expert in nursing education, teaches in the classroom and clinical areas. Her doctoral project involved converting a historically lecture classroom to an active learning environment. She enjoys being creative and developing classroom activities that engage students in the learning process. She believes making learning experiences relevant in today’s healthcare environment helps students understand the importance of critical thinking and clinical reasoning. Dr. Woodfield is passionate about the nursing profession.
