Brief Bio:
I am originally from Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, where I practiced law for 10 years. Ohio, the heart of it all, has been my home state for the past 25 years. Nursing is my second career, which I have built on my law and ethics background foundation. I hold a Bachelor in Law from Brazil and a Master in Law from Cleveland State University. I received my basic nursing education at Case Western Reserve University through an intensive graduate program. I obtained a Master in Science of Nursing and a PhD in Higher Education Administration from University of Phoenix. I hold a certification in Medical-Surgical Nursing, and Legal Nurse Consultant.

Creative and Activities:
Dr. Kozlowski-Gibson¿s NUR 511 Introduction to Forensic Nursing earned the Quality Matters (QM) Certification Mark following a rigorous review process. The QM Certification Mark is the internationally recognized symbol of online and blended course design quality and represents Dr. Kozlowski-Gibson¿s ongoing commitment to creating learning environments that provide learners with a clear pathway to success (June, 2023).
