Over twenty years of caring for medical needs and responsiveness to patients and their families in a clinical setting, including over eight years as a nationally certified family nurse practitioner (FNP-C) and over twelve (12) years as a registered nurse (RN) with extensive pediatrics (PEDS), leadership, and medical-surgical experience.
A lifetime filled with volunteerism within community organizations and youth development groups. Natural skill at enhancing learning through laughter and experiences. Long history of successful education and preceptorship of students and nursing professionals. Extensive experience in clinical and lab education. Educational focus in pediatrics and pathophysiology in undergraduate nursing and family nurse practitioner classes for graduate students.
