+Students who have completed MSN courses in advanced health assessment, advanced pathophysiology, and advanced pharmacology with a grade of ‘B’ or better, will NOT need to take these courses to complete the Post-Graduate FNP certificate program. Students who did NOT take or complete MSN courses in advanced health assessment, advanced pathophysiology, and advanced pharmacology with a grade of ‘B’ or better will need to complete these courses in order to complete with Post-Graduate FNP certificate program 

  • Master’s degree in nursing or a doctorate in nursing practice from and accredited nursing program 
  • Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale 
  • Official transcript(s), transcript(s) of all previous graduate coursework  
  • Active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state in which practicum hours will be completed 
  • Resume or vita 
  • Goal statement 
  • Two letters of reference from healthcare professionals or faculty members
