Nursing Programs
Provide Holistic Patient Care
Expand on your nursing master’s degree by preparing to become a specialized primary care nurse.
- 35 credit hours+
- 780 clinical hours
- One residency
- Three intakes per year (Fall, Spring, Summer)
- One year and three months/five semesters (full-time)
+Students who have completed MSN courses in advanced health assessment, advanced pathophysiology, and advanced pharmacology with a grade of ‘B’ or better, will NOT need to take these courses to complete the Post-Graduate FNP certificate program. Students who did NOT take or complete MSN courses in advanced health assessment, advanced pathophysiology, and advanced pharmacology with a grade of ‘B’ or better will need to complete these courses in order to complete with Post-Graduate FNP certificate program
- Master’s degree in nursing or a doctorate in nursing practice from and accredited nursing program
- Minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Official transcript(s), transcript(s) of all previous graduate coursework
- Active, unrestricted registered nurse license in the state in which practicum hours will be completed
- Resume or vita
- Goal statement
- Two letters of reference from healthcare professionals or faculty members
