But I think the program here really trains you well and teaches you what you need to learn to be a really good provider. They make sure you get all the skills, and you ace those skills before you're sent into the actual field. So don't be scared, just take the leap of faith.”   

“My favorite part of this program is learning how my role as a nurse practitioner is changing from my role as a registered nurse. As a registered nurse, I follow the orders of the provider. And as an FNP, I'm now giving the orders to the nurses in order to care for the patient... So, I'm able to now prepare myself for my clinical rotation as a student FNP and I am very much looking forward to it.”
